November 2007
Well, fellows, 2007 is
coming to a close. All that’s left
for us is the November meeting to be held at AMP on Wednesday, November 28th,
and the Christmas Banquet to be held at the Recovery Volunteer Fire Department
on Saturday, December 15th.
This next meeting is by far the most important meeting of the year, so
everyone needs to attend.
At this months
meeting we will be voting for the 2008 club officers, getting an up-to-date roll
to turn into to FLW and the Florida Federation for the 2008 year, voting on any
changes to the by-laws, voting for the Sportsman of the Year, and discussing the
preparation for the Christmas Banquet.
Any
unpaid club dues and T-shirt dues need to be taken care of by this meeting, so
please see Mike and Richard before or after the meeting.
The club dues are used to pay for the Christmas Banquet and next years
federation dues, so please get these taken care of.
At the last,
meeting we held nominations for new club officers and the club chose to keep the
same officers as this year except for the Secretary position.
I have had a blast doing the newsletters for ya’ll, but it is looking
like I am going to be out of town the majority of next year.
I didn’t feel like this would be fair to the club and decided to step
down. The nominees for next year’s secretarial position are Pete Barberee and
Kevin Swisher. In order to voice
your opinion on this and any by-law changes you would like, you must be present
at this next meeting.

Annual Results
Once again, my
work forced me to be absent for the last two tournaments, but Joey told me that
they were very challenging events to say the least.

The above point
totals will be double checked with the Tournament Director’s, and the award
should be announced at the next meeting or maybe we will just leave everyone in
suspense until the Christmas Banquet.
Once
again, I can’t stress how important the next meeting (Wednesday, November 28th
@ AMP) really is, so I hope to see you all there.
